  • Jim Delaney

    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Jim Delaney leads Marketwired's corporate vision, business direction and global strategy. Most recently, he served as Marketwired's Chief Operating Officer, steering the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to his tenure at Marketwired, Jim built a reputation for delivering exceptional results for prominent international companies. From 2006 to 2011 he served as President, Global Sales & Marketing Solutions for Dun & Bradstreet where he pioneered the development of its Data-as-a-Service platform, which transformed the commercial data industry and today represents Dun & Bradstreet's largest growth strategy. As senior vice president of card services at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Jim led his product portfolio to unprecedented growth and acquired 500,000 new customers in a single year – the most in the program's history. He has held a number of other senior management and marketing leadership positions at respected financial institutions including Colonial Penn Insurance and FirstUSA. Jim is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Stephen Devito

    Chief Financial Officer

    As Marketwired's CFO, Stephen Devito oversees the Company's worldwide finance organization with responsibility for financial reporting, tax and legal matters, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions. He also leads the facilities and human resources teams. In conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer, Stephen is instrumental in determining the organization's business and financial strategies. With over 13 years of financial, operational and strategic planning experience in both private and public companies, Stephen has succeeded in taking companies through rapid growth and expansion, including initial public offerings, hostile take-over bids, restructurings, and more. Stephen joined Marketwired in 2008 after leaving his post of CFO at Second Cup Royalty Income Fund (TSX: SCU.UN), the largest franchiser of specialty coffee cafés in Canada. Prior to Second Cup, Stephen held leadership roles at DWL Incorporated, a fast-growing CRM solutions company specializing in the insurance area, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the world's largest professional services firm and Schwartz Levitsky Feldman LLP, a mid-sized professional services firm with head offices in Toronto and Montreal. Stephen is a designated Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

  • Adnan Ahmed

    Chief Strategy Officer

    Adnan Ahmed, Chief Strategy Officer and Resonate GM, will help Marketwired
    create a 3-5 year long-term strategy. With a special expertise in leading new business launches and product introductions, Ahmed brings to Marketwired more than 18 years' experience building successful businesses within Fortune 500 and start-up environments. He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager, tradePortal.dnb, the world's leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, where he conceived, developed and managed D&B's first global B2B marketplace to connect buyers and suppliers. Prior to that, as Vice President, Corporate Strategy he improved D&B's footprint in high-growth international markets such as China and Australia. Defining the strategy and vision for the business, including understanding global trends and unmet customer needs, he created winning product and marketing strategies driven by market needs. Earlier, he was managing partner at Vergence Consulting where he provided strategy and operations consulting to private equity portfolio companies and small- to mid-sized businesses. He also held senior leadership positions at Danaher (Accu-Sort Systems Inc.), Motorola (Mobile Devices Business) and Evidian, Inc (subsidiary of BULL). Adnan received his Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Electronics, cum laude, from Dartmouth College, and his MBA with focus on Strategy and Finance from Harvard Business School.

  • Stuart Ogawa

    Executive Vice President, Product and Technology

    Stuart (Stu) Ogawa oversees Marketwired's product and technology organization and is responsible for setting the direction of the company's product roadmaps. He brings 25 years' experience leading large development, product and engineering teams at both VC-backed start-up companies and multi-billion dollar public enterprises. Most recently he served as VP, Business Intelligence at Yahoo! Inc. in Santa Clara, California. where he led a team of 180-plus people overseeing Big Data platforms and the search and display ad monetization platforms. During his tenure he received The SuperStar Team Lead Award, one of the highest Yahoo! awards given to employees. Prior to that, Stu was recruited to Teradata prior to its IPO, where he led a 275 person organization as its General Manager, VP of Applications. This organization built and delivered Big Data and analytic applications for the Global 1000. He founded two SaaS start-ups, including a financial information exchange and an early social network. Stu received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from University of California, Santa Barbara, an MBA from Santa Clara University, and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University, sponsored by Yahoo!.

  • Darin Wolter

    Executive Vice President, Global Sales

    In 2004, Darin Wolter joined Marketwired as Vice President of Sales for its Western U.S. region. In his first six years, Marketwired's profits increased nearly 100-fold and the Company's market share in the news distribution space climbed dramatically. During this time, Darin was promoted to Senior Vice President Sales and his territory oversight grew to include all of Europe and Asia. Under Darin's watch, Marketwired's sales staff grew more than 500%, which was buoyed by new office openings in San Francisco, New York City, Boston, Austin and London (U.K.). In 2010, Darin was named Marketwired's Executive Vice President of Global Sales where he now directs the Company's sales revenue and growth efforts worldwide. Darin brings nearly two decades of sales experience to Marketwired along with a deep knowledge of the financial industry and emerging technologies. A former sales executive with Thomson Financial, Darin held key national management positions (including Vice President and Managing Director) of Thomson's Outbound Sales Team. Prior to Thomson (now Thomson Reuters) Darin held direct sales and management roles at successfully acquired start-ups, StreetFusion and Questlink Technology, in addition to holding key advertising sales positions at Miller Freeman. Darin earned his BA in English from Miami University of Ohio.

    Executive Vice President, Client Sales

    As leader of Marketwired's client sales teams, Michael (Mike) Downing's mission is to consistently meet or exceed client expectations while delivering solutions that generate the greatest ROI for clients and for Marketwired. Mike joined Marketwired from Dun & Bradstreet where he focused on sales execution for Fortune 500, commercial mid-market and government clients. His track record of building high-performing, motivated teams that deliver world-class customer service played out in a series of sales and senior sales leadership roles at D&B. Most recently he was the SVP Sales-Strategic Clients & Government Solutions and a member of the Global Leadership Team, one of 15 key executives to serve on the governing body that provides strategic vision for the corporation. During Mike's tenure he led the Strategic Client Group, D&B’s largest client segment, developed the Government Solutions vertical, and managed the mid-market client segment. Under his leadership, all sales units ranked among the company's highest in employee engagement and customer satisfaction. Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Mississippi School of Business Administration.

    Executive Vice President, Global Operations

    John Sanchez oversees Marketwired’s customer engagement and lean process redesign initiatives. He has direct responsibility for the company’s editorial operations and for the client support teams that service Sysomos-powered products across the enterprise. In this role, he builds and maintains strong, loyal client relationships by aligning business strategy, operating plans and performance metrics with employee engagement and continuous improvement practices – in turn, delivering market solutions that exceed customer and partner expectations. Immediately prior to joining Marketwired, John served in an executive level role as Assistant General Manager of Parx Casino, an organization with over $500 million in annualized revenues. He was responsible for customer engagement programs, all aspects of casino operations and the success of more than 1500 team members. John brings to Marketwired more than 26 years of experience in leading successful teams at front line and executive management levels, working in engineering, operational, and financial roles across diverse industries. His first leadership experience was as a cavalry officer in the United States Army, where he rose to the rank of Major. He is a decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf War, holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

  • Nina Moritsugu

    Vice President, Legal Counsel

    Nina Moritsugu thrives on closing deals and finding solutions to challenging problems. She is responsible for negotiation of commercial agreements on behalf of Marketwired as well as developing and managing legal compliance processes. Nina has extensive history working on commercial transactions, with a focus on the information technology, telecommunications and financial services industries. Prior to joining the Company she was Corporate Counsel for Cognition LLP, a law firm with an innovative model for delivery of legal services, where she provided legal services to private and public technology and financial services firms. Earlier, Nina served as Associate General Counsel at SOMA Networks, a broadband fixed wireless company. Nina articled and served as an associate at Gowlings, one of Canada’s largest law firms, in its litigation department. Nina holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (First Class Honours) from McGill University, and received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (Ontario Bar).
