iBloks Unleashes the First Virtual Marketplace and Community for Designers to Promote 3D Creations Directly to Consumers

iBloks Mod Designer Program Empowers Designers to Promote Their Creations Through the iBloks Shop; Teams up With Electric Rain(R) to Offer Mod Designer Tools and Creative Genius(TM) Contest

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 9, 2006 -- iBloks, Inc. today announced the first virtual marketplace and community to connect 3D designers directly to consumers. Designers can now promote and sell high-quality, immersive mods through the iBloks Shop that can easily be personalized by consumers. iBloks leverages 3D modeling tools developed by industry-leader Electric Rain and is kicking off its iBloks Mod Designer program with the Creative Genius Mod Contest to inspire and reward the creative efforts of designers using Electric Rain products.

iBloks Mod Designer Program

Through the iBloks Mod Designer Program and Electric Rain's 3D authoring tools, designers now have a complete solution for offering 3D virtual objects to consumers. On the tools side, designers can use Electric Rain's popular Swift 3D® or Zam 3D™ software to quickly and easily create high-quality iBloks mods with no programming required. "We are excited to be working with iBloks to empower designers to create these unique multimedia experiences," said Mike Soucie, president and CEO of Electric Rain. "Swift 3D and Zam 3D allow designers to create inspiring mods that will delight a whole new consumer audience that have never been reached before."

Once designed, all mods can be offered through the iBloks Shop for free or sold under a 50/50 revenue sharing agreement. iBloks may offer to purchase mods from the designers as well.

iBloks Creative Genius Mod Designer Contest

iBloks is also encouraging designers from around the world to enter its Creative Genius Mod Designer contest between now and December 10th for a chance to win a 50'' plasma HDTV, with four runner-up prizes that include an HD DVD player, HD A/V receiver, Sony PlayStation Portable and Apple Video iPod. All winners will be given the choice of selling their mods under the revenue-sharing program described above or having their mod purchased by iBloks. In addition, every entrant will receive a free copy of the iBloks Music Mixer with a microphone -- a $29.99 value. Past winners include design experts Stephen Barker, Neil McGarry (http://www.artzfx.com), J. Maxamillion Noad, and Derek Loewen (http://www.caffeinerush.net). Previous winning entries can be viewed at www.ibloks.com/designer.

"iBloks allows designers to easily unleash their creativity in 3D to people everywhere," said Julia Miller, president and CEO of iBloks. "Just as Xbox Live built a marketplace for gamers, iBloks has now built a marketplace for designers. We're freeing people from their 2D experiences and enabling them to create and share rich, high-quality visual experiences by showcasing the exciting designs from designers around the world."
