The mission of the festival is to raise awareness about our environment and ways we can each make a difference. Films, parties, art exhibits, organic lunches, children's events and tours of the solar and wind site in Beverly are all on offer over the weekend.

Along with the Saturday showings there will be a Green Lounge featuring local environmental groups and companies discussing issues of concern along with new technologies for saving energy, reducing carbon footprints and aiding local conservation. Among those appearing will be Salem Sound Coastwatch, Groom Energy, Daylight Communications, Healthlink, and Solar Now.

Special appearances include the filmmakers Heather Barrie of Nashville, TN presenting her film "Kilowatt Ours" and Liz Argo of "The View and the Vision" featuring a documentary on the wind farms in Denmark. Premiering at the Festival will also be the newly released film, "The Unforeseen."
