NEW YORK, NY and LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 6, 2011) - Entertainment and media public relations firms Sayles & Winnikoff Communications and Maggie Begley Communications (MBC) have formed an exclusive strategic alliance that establishes a permanent bi-coastal presence for both agencies, offers an expanded scope of services for clients and provides economies of scale for both organizations.

Sayles & Winnikoff Communications, based in New York City and New Jersey, and MBC, based in Los Angeles, will partner on projects and new business development, share services and combine resources. The two firms already partner on behalf of several clients, including SKECHERS Entertainment and Unicomm (event producer of the 3D Entertainment Summit™ and Mobile Entertainment Summit™).

While focused on a core clientele of entertainment and media companies and properties, both agencies also represent a wide cross-section of business categories and services including celebrity outreach, animation, product and content for kids, consumer products, non-profits, feature films, television properties, new media and digital content, and licensing & merchandising. The agencies' expertise extends to both business-to-consumer and business-to-business campaigns, with a strong social media component.

Entertainment industry veteran Begley launched MBC in 1992 after holding executive positions at NBC, Warner Bros., and Rogers & Cowan. Alan Winnikoff and Carina Sayles formed their firm in 2003.
