Arizona Lottery Lounge Returns to the 2011 Arizona State Fair

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - Oct 21, 2011) - The Arizona Lottery Lounge returns to the Arizona State Fair this year, rolling out its red carpet, music, disco ball and money blower machine for players and fair attendees. Located at the entrance to the Arizona Lottery Backyard, the Arizona Lottery Lounge is a nightclub-like atmosphere for ages 21 and older.

Complete with a disco ball and prize wheel, the Arizona Lottery Lounge offers guests VIP access to some of the Arizona Lottery's most popular games and provides opportunities for players to win a variety of prizes. Tickets for Arizona Lottery games are on sale at the Ticket Trolley, which is open Wednesday through Friday noon to 9:30 p.m., and weekends 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Guests who purchase $5 worth of Arizona Lottery tickets receive one spin at the prize wheel. A $20 purchase awards players with a prize wheel spin and an Arizona Lottery T-shirt. Launching Nov. 1, the seasonal game Millionaire Raffle will take center stage. Guests purchasing a $20 Millionaire Raffle ticket will receive one free Powerball ticket, a T-shirt and a spin at the prize wheel.

"The Arizona Lottery Lounge was such a hit at the Arizona State Fair last year, that we decided to bring it back again," says Kim McGlothlen, marketing and advertising director for the Arizona Lottery. "There are, however, a few fun new additions like the money blower machine, which we expect players to love."

Arizona Lottery players who step into the money blower machine have a chance to win preferred seating tickets to the Old School Jam concert on Nov. 4, featuring Stevie B., Lisa Lisa, Debbie Deb and Young MC.

On average, more than 1.1 million people visit the State Fair each year. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, the fair opened Friday, Oct. 14, and ends Sunday, Nov. 6. Ticket and ride packages can be found online at www.azstatefair.com.

Arizona Lottery players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Overall odds vary by game. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, these materials may be made available in an alternate format. Gambling Problem? Call 1-800-NEXT STEP. Please Play Responsibly™.
