RHR International to Partner With Northwestern University

Firm to Provide Feedback and Coaching for Women's Senior Leadership Program

CHICAGO, Jan. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- All executives follow the same path to the C-suite: talent, performance, skill sets, and a little luck. However, there are subtle differences in how women begin their travels and the experiences they have along the way.

RHR International is pleased to announce a partnership with Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management to work with 20 senior executive women participating in this year's Women's Senior Leadership Program. The program is designed to shed light on senior-level leadership and illuminate opportunities, practices and experiences that are vital for success – but not always visible, available or experienced the same by diverse executives.

"We see this as a great opportunity to work closely with a preeminent business school to facilitate senior women's development and entrance to the C-suite," said Dr. Thomas J. Saporito, Chairman and CEO of RHR International. "Participants will discover gaps in business skills and psychological preparedness; learn crucial business and leadership skills; and discover development steps to fill the gaps and compete for the top spots in their organizations."

Attendees gather at Northwestern University's Evanston, Illinois campus for four two-day sessions over the course of a year where they receive practical guidance and multiple perspectives on leadership development for women. Represented are Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. Government, and professional service firms. RHR International will be providing feedback and coaching to each participant. The initiative will be led by Dr. Teresa DiStefano, a Senior Partner with RHR International who also has management responsibility for the firm's United States Central Region.
