Palm Springs, CA, May 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Film Producers Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey, of Kim and Jim Productions, and Trini Garza, of Live It Up Productions, are pleased to announce the launch of their new, multi-faceted entertainment company, Troupe Productions, LLC, headquartered in Palm Springs, California.
Troupe Productions will be a one-stop shop for all areas of musical entertainment management and production. The company will manage musical artists, produce live events, musicals, fashion shows, festivals, and more. Their inaugural show "Fifty Shades of Dusque" premiered at the Hotel Zoso in Palm Springs on New Year's Eve 2012.
Troupe has signed their first up and coming musical artist, AZHIA, who will premiere her music video "Lonely" at the AMFM Festival in Cathedral City on June 15th at 10:00pm. They will also host a CD release party on August 15th at Boardners in Hollywood.
Kim and Jim Productions have produced such films as Hit & Run, the comedy starring Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard and Bradley Cooper, OLD DAYS, An Evergreen Christmas, Expecting Mary, I Didn't Come Here to Die, A Thousand Cuts, and the soon to be released Old Days, and The Disapppearance of Eleanor Rigby: His and Hers starring Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain, Golden Globe Nominee James McAlvoy and Oscar Winners Viola Davis and William Hurt.
Trini Garza, of Live it up Productions, has choreographed shows for the MGM Grand and various cruise lines, and has worked with celebrities such as Natalie Cole, Queen Latifah, Wynonna Judd, KISS, Kool and The Gang, Wayne Newton and Prince. Garza has produced the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, Dinner at Not My Place benefitting Desert AIDS Project, and a variety of other events around the Coachella Valley.
