Luxury Hotel in Montreal Named Business of the Year at 2013 Accolades Gala

The annual gala recognizing the West Island of Montreal's business excellence was held under the theme of "Communicating Excellence" in acknowledgement of their Diamond Partner Bell with more than 300 representatives of the business community in attendance at the Château Vaudreuil Pavillon-sur-le-lac.

In addition to Human Resources, businesses were honoured for excellence in Retail Service, Distribution, Manufacturing, High Technology and Innovation, Export, Community Service, Small Business, Enterprises Services and Sustainable Development. A Grand Jury comprised of Accolades partners of the Chamber of Commerce selected the 31 finalists and an independent jury comprised of chamber members was named for each category and were responsible for site visits, interviews with the finalists and for choosing the recipients. Candidates had to describe their greatest achievement in the past 12 months and explain how this accomplishment created a competitive advantage.
