Hotel in North Phoenix Joins the Effort to Help Wildfire Victims in Yarnell, Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Jul 23, 2013) -  With the state of Arizona still reeling from the devastating losses in the Yarnell wildfires, the Residence Inn Phoenix has leapt into action. The hotel is working in conjunction with other area Residence Inns to collect items and monetary donations for the victims of the fire.

"The American Red Cross has set up shelters very close to our sister property, Residence Inn Prescott who has reached out to us for help," explains Josh Garcia, the general manager of the Residence Inn Phoenix. "We are collecting items to personally deliver to them once a week."

The Residence Inn Phoenix is collecting cases of bottled water, boxes of granola bars, clothes, soap, shampoo and similar items. Cash donations are also gratefully accepted, and can be made via PayPal at www.100club.org.

This North Phoenix Hotel may not be located in Prescott or Yarnell, but it is embedded in the Residence Inn community as well as the greater community of Phoenix, making it sensitive to the needs of its neighbors.
