Holster Brands' Lil'Holster Named a Top Five Finalist for Innovation Award by International Home & Housewares Show

Inventor and CEO, Erin Balogh, to Receive Recognition for New Product Lil'Holster, a Home Storage and Organizational Consumer Product


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 11, 2014) - Holster Brand announced that their new brand, Lil'Holster, was named a Top 5 Finalist for the 2014 IHA Innovation Award. The Lil'Holster is a silicone holder for small objects and can be used around the kitchen and the bathroom. It retails in two sizes ideal for kitchen sponges, bath soap and cell phones or your and tooth brushes, razors, or kitchen stirring spoons. Winners will be announced on March 15, 2014 at the International Home & Housewares Show (IHHS) at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois.

Holster Brands will exhibit their products in the Clean, Contain and Sustain Pavilion at booth #N7119. Holster Brands will showcase their first brand, Hot Iron Holster, alongside two new additions: Hobby Holster and Lil'Holster. The company specializes in heat-resistant, silicone storage products. 

As seen on The Today Show, Holster Brand's 2012 first brand, Hot Iron Holster, is a heat-resistant silicone holder for hot styling tools. The silicone pouch can withstand heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and holds up to 20 pounds of weight. Professional and celebrity hair stylists worldwide use the Hot Iron Holster to hold their hot hair styling tools, hair products, make-up, and other beauty related items. 

The Hobby Holster launched in January 2014 at the Craft & Hobby Association Show in Anaheim, California. The craft-inspired pouch is a heat-resistant, dual-pocket, silicone holder for hot crafting tools. The product is designed to safely store a hot glue gun, up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and keep it separate from other crafting tools including glue sticks, glitter pens, or quilting irons. 

Recognized as a successful inventor by her peers, Balogh will speak at the IHHS Inventor's Corner Pre-Show Breakfast on Saturday, March 14, 2014. She will be speaking on a panel about how to launch and market a new product.
