The Raab Collection, LLC Announces the Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship

The Raab Collection, LLC is recognized for its work with historical documents and autographs, helping to build some of the great historical document collections for both private and public clients, and their work with notable historical families. The firm is proud to announce The Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship, an essay contest with an annual scholarship award.


ARDMORE, Pa., Sept. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Raab Collection announces the launch of The Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship, an essay contest with a $2000 annual scholarship award for juniors and seniors who are majoring in history, and have a passion for history, historical documents, and historical preservation in the 21st century. A short-term internship opportunity with The Raab Collection is included with the scholarship.

Each academic semester, a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student to use at his or her discretion. The applicant must submit a one-page personal statement on his or her interest in history, a letter of recommendation from an academic source, a resume, a transcript and an 800-word essay on what role technology will play in the preservation of history and historical documents in our future. All applications and essays will be reviewed and one winner will be selected each semester. Once the winner has been determined, he or she will be contacted, informed of the scholarship award, and asked to sign an acceptance letter.
