FLIR Systems Awarded U.S. Navy Contract Valued at up to $50 Million to Support Coast Guard and Navy Patrol Boats


WILSONVILLE, OR--(Marketwired - Sep 27, 2013) - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced today that it has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, to support the Patrol Boat Electro-Optics System (PB-EOS) program for the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy. The contract is valued at $49.9 million and is for a variant of FLIR's® recently introduced SeaFLIR® 280-HD maritime electro-optical/infrared imaging system. These advanced imaging systems provide critical capability to enhance navigation, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
