YANGAROO Joins Independent Artist Ronny Morris in Spreading His Video and Message Worldwide, Declaring the Arctic a Global Sanctuary

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 22, 2014) - As today marks the celebration of Earth Day around the globe, YANGAROO (TSX VENTURE:YOO)(OTCBB:YOOIF), the industry's leading secure digital media management and distribution company, is proud to announce its partnership with award winning singer/songwriter Ronny Morris who has created an international campaign to rally global support for the Save the Arctic Campaign launched by Greenpeace. Mr. Morris has created a music video for his song "Built to Last" in seven languages and donated all proceeds from the song sales to this Greenpeace initiative. Especially on the heels of the latest United Nations report on ways to reduce CO2 emissions on April 7th, YANGAROO is honored to be the official online distributor of Mr. Morris's multilingual versions of his music video in order to help spread the word about the importance and urgency about protecting the Arctic from melting.

The song "Built to Last" which includes the release of three music videos and eight remixes by artists like Rich Morel (P!nk, Depeche Mode, The Killers), Ganga and Leon El Ray, was released via Spotify and all digital retailers on April 7, 2014. Ronny Morris has also teamed up with Greenpeace and Spotify on the release of this charity single where all revenue will go to the support of the Save The Arctic movement, which includes prominent names such as Radiohead, Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Richard Branson, and Chris Martin from Coldplay, supporting over 5 million people worldwide who have already signed the petition on SavetheArctic.org.

"We are happy to support this worthy cause," said Cliff Hunt, Vice Chairman and COO, YANGAROO Inc. "Global warming is a reality and we are seeing the effects every day and we are glad to be able to help in some small way."

Ronny Morris, who is an avid proponent of Greenpeace, is thrilled that YANGAROO is also supporting his efforts in addressing this global issue. "The Arctic is melting faster than anyone could predict. Due to climate change an entire region is under threat. I hope this campaign will help open people's eyes to the great danger we are in. Hopefully, some will even join the movement to protect the Arctic," says Ronny Morris. "Being that the U.N. Secretary General has recently traveled to Greenland to inspect the consequences of global warming should definitely raise concern for everyone."

The Save the Arctic campaign works for a ban on offshore oil drilling in the Arctic region, a stop on unregulated and destructive fisheries in the Arctic and a global sanctuary on the uninhabited area around the North Pole.

Ronny Morris's music has been featured in award winning films and major American TV shows such as One Tree Hill, Brothers Sisters and Ghost Whisperer and was recently honored with two HMMA awards. Remixes of his songs are available on more than sixteen compilation CDs sold in 52 countries worldwide, including the world renowned Buddha Bar Compilation.
