Troy Energy Corp. Reports Closing of $165,000 Private Placement


VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - July 30, 2014) - Troy Energy Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TEG.H) (the "Corporation" or "Troy") announces the Corporation has closed a private placement of 3,300,000 common shares issued at $0.05 each for gross proceeds of $165,000. The terms of the private placement were announced on July 2, 2014 and the amount of the financing was increased from $150,000 to $165,000.

The proceeds of this offering will be used for investigation of new projects and working capital. Directors and Officers of the Corporation participated in the private placement. The common shares issued in this private placement are subject to a hold period expiring December 1, 2014.
