Hoonigan Presents Recoil Two -- Unleashed in Ensenada

B.J. Baldwin, Dan Bilzerian, 850 Horsepower, Babes and the City of Ensenada

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2014) - Today, Hoonigan is proud to launch BJ Baldwin's "Recoil Two" with Monster Energy and Toyo Tires. The seven-time Off-Road Racing and two-time solo Baja 1000 champion, and his 850HP Trophy Truck, equipped with almost 3 feet of rear suspension, tear across the urban city of Ensenada, Mexico to fulfill a fictitious bet with International Playboy, Dan Bilzerian. "After the success of BJ's Recoil film in 2013, which has seen close to seven million views already, it was clear there would be a sequel," says Hoonigan's Brand Director, Brian Scotto who served as Recoil Two's Creative Director. "BJ tapped Hoonigan to help on the creative side and give the sequel a slightly different feel, which we were stoked to do. Anytime we get to shut down a city and mob through it with an 850HP beast, you can count on Hoonigan to be willing and able. This was a fun one to make." Scotto has also been an instrumental part of Ken Block's hit viral series, Gymkhana.

For the release of "Recoil Two," B.J. Baldwin and the guys at Hoonigan have launched a limited edition apparel line inspired by the livery they also designed for B.J. Baldwin's truck. In addition, they created an image tee that celebrates the final stunt of the film. The three limited edition shirts and tank top will be released for purchase on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at https://www.hoonigan.com/bj-baldwin.html.

Fedor, B.J. Baldwin's trophy truck, has a 458-inch small block Chevy engine nestled under the hood that puts down over 850 horses and 690 foot-pounds of torque. It's capable of top speeds around 150mph and its 39-inch Toyo Tires coupled with its massive suspension travel, courtesy of King Shocks, allows it to not only eat up anything in its path but thread the needle through buildings, power lines, spectators and random bikini-clad babes along the rural and urban parts of Ensenada, Mexico.
