The future of Canadian fashion took the spotlight at the eleventh annual White Cashmere Collection™ starring 15 rising design stars from across Canada as they support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) in their vision of a future without breast cancer, Tuesday, September 30, at The Carlu, in Toronto.

Unique in the world, and the first and only fashion collection entirely crafted in pure, soft and luxurious sheets of Cashmere Bathroom Tissue - Canada's bestselling brand - The White Cashmere Collection has showcased more than 125 Canadian designers since its runway debut in 2004.

The eagerly anticipated Cashmere BT Couture Collection 2014 takes a bold look forward and features 15 emerging talents on the Canadian fashion scene, all nominated by famed Canadian designers and past contributors to the collection.

The world-famous, one-of-a-kind collection includes a spectacular runway show, a portfolio of high-fashion Cashmere BT Couture Photos and a Vote Couture for the Cure™ consumer promotion for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Fashionable Fundraiser

A fund- and awareness-raiser for women and their families affected by breast cancer, the White Cashmere Collection highlights the brand's ongoing commitment to CBCF and heralds the annual return of limited-edition Pink Embossed Cashmere, conceived in 2008, with twenty-five cents from the sale of every package going directly to CBCF throughout October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Funds donated support the most innovative breast cancer research projects, breast health education and advocacy initiatives to support women and their families affected by the disease. Funds raised support innovative research, health education and advocacy programs that aim to reduce the incidence of breast cancer, lower mortality rates and support women who have experienced breast cancer and their families.

Future Forward: Talent on a Roll

The 2014 collection rolled out on the runway in Toronto at a packed-out, invitation-only show hosted by breast cancer survivor and CTV Canada AM co-host, Beverly Thomson. The show featured Citytv's Cityline host Tracy Moore, who walked the runway, and included a compelling speech by Montrealer's Nalie Agustin, who inspired attendees with her story of strength and determination in beating breast cancer.
