Celebrating Local Arts and Heritage in North Grenville

Government of Canada supports the Dandelion Festival


KEMPTVILLE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $14,300 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 2015 Dandelion Festival. The Festival celebrates the area's arts, culture, music and heritage and features a variety of local performers. The 15th edition of the festival will take place from May 22 to 24, 2015, in the Municipality of North Grenville.

Gord Brown, Member of Parliament (Leeds-Grenville), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The Dandelion Festival features activities for visitors and residents of all ages. In 2015, it will present the work of more than 400 artists, artisans and heritage performers.
