Celebrating Local Arts and Heritage in North Grenville

KEMPTVILLE, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $14,300 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support the 2015 Dandelion Festival. The Festival celebrates the area's arts, culture, music and heritage and features a variety of local performers. The 15^th edition of the festival will take place from May 22 to 24, 2015, in the Municipality of North Grenville.

Gord Brown, Member of Parliament (Leeds-Grenville), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

• The Dandelion Festival features activities for visitors and residents of all ages. In 2015, it will present the work of more than 400 artists, artisans and heritage performers.
• The Festival takes place in downtown Kemptville.
