KEMP LoadMaster Is Now Fully Validated for Microsoft Lync 2013

Load Balancers and Reverse Proxy Services Officially Qualified by Microsoft's Universal Communications Open Interoperability Program (UCOIP)

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 13, 2014) -  KEMP Technologies, the full-featured virtual load balancer software provider, announced today that it is now fully qualified for Microsoft's Unified Communications Open Interoperability Program (UCOIP). The KEMP LoadMaster™ family of products are now part of infrastructure qualified for Lync 2013 in both load balancer and reverse proxy services categories. This designation indicates that the LoadMaster™ family has gone through extensive technical evaluation with Microsoft to ensure complete qualification for the UCOIP.

KEMP LoadMaster™ is an advanced Layer 4-7 load balancing/application delivery controller (ADC) solution. Flexible deployment options are available on a wide array of hypervisor and cloud platforms, as well as dedicated KEMP appliances and third party best-in-class 'bare metal' servers. LoadMaster provides enterprise application integration and acceleration services that intelligently direct user traffic in order to help applications perform better in on-premise, virtualized and hybrid cloud data center architectures.

As a Microsoft Gold competency partner for both Communications and Messaging, KEMP is dedicated to meeting Microsoft customers' evolving needs for dynamic and robust load balancing and reverse proxy solutions. KEMP has a long history of partnering with Microsoft to deliver load balancing and application delivery solutions optimized for Microsoft workloads, including Lync, Exchange, SharePoint, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), ADFS and others. The LoadMaster also features reverse proxy as an important aspect of the Lync 2013 solution. KEMP is one of only three vendors that have achieved this inclusion to the UCOIP.

"KEMP's acceptance into Microsoft's UCOIP demonstrates the ongoing commitment to our long standing partnership with Microsoft and its customer base," said Jeff Fisher, Vice President, Strategic Alliances at KEMP Technologies. "Our compatibility with and support of Microsoft Unified Communications solutions like Lync and Exchange are further enhanced with this qualification. We look forward to the joint market opportunities it will bring as we continue to help deliver highly available and optimized Microsoft solutions for our customers."
