Media Advisory: Minister MacKay to Mark the Acceptance of the Last Mid-Shore Patrol Vessel to the Canadian Coast Guard Fleet

DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - Oct. 14, 2014) - On Wednesday October 15^th, 2014 the Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Regional Minister for Nova Scotia, will accept the CCGS Captain Goddard M.S.M. for the Canadian Coast Guard fleet on behalf of the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. This event will also mark the successful completion of the contract with Irving Shipbuilding Inc. to build the nine Mid-Shore Patrol Vessels.
