Max Sound Corporation Wins in Court Again

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - December 19, 2014) - Max Sound Corporation (OTCQB: MAXD) -- the innovators of MAX-D HD Audio and other disruptive technologies, announced today that it has won yet another legal victory. The San Diego County Superior Court has ruled in Max Sound's favor in a long running legal dispute with the former CEO Robert Steele of the now dissolved company Acoustic Control Sciences, LLC.

Acoustic Control Sciences, LLC was founded in 2005 based on a ground breaking sound improvement technologies invented by acclaimed audio engineer Lloyd Trammell. Steele was hired by Acoustic Control Sciences in 2007 as its CEO and left the company in 2008 following a dispute. In 2010, Mr. Trammell co-founded Audio Genesis Group, based on his quest to perfect and standardize audio, and within a few weeks Max Sound Corporation purchased all of its assets. 

In 2012, Steele filed his complaint in San Diego County Superior Court against Max Sound Corporation and other defendants, including Trammell. In his complaint, Steele alleged that the sound improvement technology now owned by Max Sound was based on the technology Steele had been involved with. Steele claimed that he was owed back pay, shares of Max Sound Corporation, as well as 20 million dollars in punitive damages against the defendants. The judge rejected Steele's charges entirely, and found that the evidence presented at trial did not support his allegations.

Dr. Dariush Adli, the President and founder of Adli Law Group, PC, which represented Max Sound and the other defendants in the lawsuit, expressed satisfaction with the decision. "This lawsuit should never have been brought, as the legal and factual basis of Steele's complaint were wholly inadequate to support the charges he was making."
