DIVERGENT Energy Services Corp.- Start of Linear Electric Submersible Pump Test

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - March 20, 2015) -

NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

DIVERGENT Energy Services Corp. (TSX VENTURE:DVG) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce that it has started the 30-day test with its first Linear Electric Submersible Pump (the "Pump").

The Corporation returned to the wellsite on March 17, 2015 to install new hardware components and software to the existing control panel. As we announced on March 13, 2015, when communication was first initiated between the surface control panel and the Pump, we determined that certain electrical parameters were outside those that had been written into the software by the panel manufacturer. The manufacturer has now modified the panel to accommodate these parameters.

On the following day, March 18, the electrical contractors powered up the control panel and communication was established between the control panel and the Pump without incident; the Pump functioned as planned.

The 30-day test will be monitored via daily site visits as well as remotely using the control panel's modem/cell device. We will release the results of the Pump's performance at the end of the 30-day test and the performance data has been analyzed.

ABOUT THE PUMP

The Pump consists of a permanent magnet reciprocating motor and a reciprocating pump. This technology duplicates rod pump movement without rod string or surface lifting equipment. All moving parts are contained within the submersible pump housing, eliminating rod and tubing wear, making the Pump ideally suited for landing in deviated or horizontal oil wells that experience high rates of rod and tubing wear.

Further information about the technology can be accessed at www.divergentenergyservices.com.
