Rx Safes Establishes New Footprint in Growing Medical Marijuana Market

Rx DrugSAFE Will Help Reduce Dispensary Liability and Provide Patient Safety

HENDERSON, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 26, 2015) - Rx Safes, Inc. (OTC: RXSF), the developer of patented fingerprint healthcare security products and secure prescription medicine lock-boxes announced today that it has established its first marijuana business reseller agreement with the Medical Cannabis Institute (MCI), a leading resource for cannabis education, information and training, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. MCI assists patients in navigating the complex world of medical marijuana and will be offering the Rx DrugSAFE for sale to its clients, within its high traffic facility as well as at its website. 23 states plus DC have legalized the sale of marijuana products for medical purposes and the market is growing faster than any other emerging industry. This presents a unique opportunity for Rx Safes to position its Rx DrugSAFE product as a tool to keep marijuana and cannabis infused edibles securely locked up and away from children in the home.

After speaking on the subject of child safety and personal patient responsibility at a recent medical marijuana event hosted by the Las Vegas Medical Marijuana Association, Rx Safes CEO, Lorraine Yarde received a great deal of interest from patients and dispensary owners for the Rx DrugSAFE. The event focused on safety, security and the steps dispensaries should take to prevent liability. The Rx DrugSAFE product was highlighted as a "must buy." "Every dispensary should be offering the Rx DrugSAFE product to its patients to reduce liability," stated Martina Jaccarino, an attorney at the law firm of Black and Lobello. Martina is considered an expert in regulatory compliance for the medical marijuana industry and provides guidance and counsel to medical marijuana businesses. Addressing an audience filled with new dispensary owners, Martina added, "If a product purchased at your dispensary causes harm to a child or other non-prescribed person, you could all be held liable... the Rx DrugSAFE can help reduce your liability."

If taken unsupervised, medical marijuana, particularly cannabis infused edibles, poses risks to young children. "Cannabis products that resemble candy are sending an increased number of children to the ER in states where medical marijuana is legalized," commented Ms. Yarde. "Whether a patient is prescribed a pharmaceutical or marijuana drug to treat their condition, these drugs need to be secured and out of reach for young children and teenagers," Ms. Yarde added.

The company is also working with insurance providers to establish liability policy premium discounts to dispensaries offering the Rx DrugSAFE for sale. "Nevada is looking to become for medical marijuana what it has been for years to the gaming industry, a footprint for other states to follow."  We intend to prove the value the Rx DrugSAFE brings to marijuana businesses in our home state and then point to this as we expand into other new and already established markets," Ms. Yarde concluded.
