Media Advisory: Technical Briefing for Media on Key Findings Observed in the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board's New Flagship Annual Report on Public Drug Plan Expenditures

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 30, 2015) - Media are invited to attend a technical briefing on the key findings observed in CompassR_x, the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board's (PMPRB's) new flagship annual National Prescription Drug Utilization Information System (NPDUIS) initiative report. CompassR_x is the first report of its kind to identify the major drivers behind changes in prescription drug expenditures in public drug plans in Canada - an important element in allowing policy-makers and researchers to understand current trends and anticipate future cost pressures and expenditure levels.
