KING'S HAWAIIAN Announces "Sweet" Partnership With the New York Mets

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 30, 2015) - KING'S HAWAIIAN announced today that it has signed on as one of the newest sponsors of the New York Mets for the 2015 season. The partnership marks a continued expansion for the brand in the northeast, with KING's HAWAIIAN signature sweet Hawaiian bread making its way into more and more homes throughout the northeast corridor.

"The KING'S HAWAIIAN team is looking forward to becoming the newest member of the Mets organization," said Erick Dickens, Vice President of Marketing for KING'S HAWAIIAN. "As we focus on expanding throughout New York, we're excited about introducing Mets fans to the KING'S HAWAIIAN line up of Sweet Breads."

As part of the new sponsorship, KING'S HAWAIIAN will be providing fans with the opportunity to share a picture of their Mets opening day game ticket on Twitter, tagging @KingsHawaiian and using the hashtag #SweetGiveaway, for a chance to win a year's supply of KING'S HAWAIIAN bread or tickets to an upcoming Mets game. Five winners will be randomly selected throughout the day.
