| WHAT: | On April 29, 2015 the Okanagan Hockey Group will announce details about a new, state-of-the-art hockey academy to be based in Edmonton, Alta. In partnership with the Royal Glenora Club, the Okanagan Hockey Academy will offer a world-class hockey and educational experience for young athletes, providing players in Northern Alberta an opportunity to stay in the province to play hockey and get an education. |
| This will be Okanagan Hockey Academy's fourth location to open, with locations in Penticton, B.C., St. Polten, Austria and Swindon, England. The academy will cater to young and aspiring student-athletes in junior high and high school across Canada. | |
