U Mobile Scoops Up Multiple Frost & Sullivan's Customer Experience Recognitions


KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA--(Marketwired - Apr 26, 2015) - U Mobile Sdn Bhd has recently picked up 4 recognitions, for excellence in Overall Experience, Contact Center Experience, Mobile Experience and Net Promoter Score in the Malaysian Telecommunications Industry from Frost & Sullivan.

The recognitions were presented to U Mobile at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence Awards banquet at Mandarin Oriental on April 14.

Mr. Hazmi Yusof, Country Head, Malaysia and Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific at Frost & Sullivan said that U Mobile has firmly established itself via strong execution in its Customer Experience Management program, coming out first for the overall Customer Experience Index among Malaysian telecoms providers.

"When examining the customer rewards programs responses from the telecommunications service providers, U Mobile's profile also stands out as they scored higher at 9% versus the industry average of 4% on personalized treatment," he added.

U Mobile was selected to receive the recognitions based on the Malaysia Telecommunications Services Customer Experience study conducted by Frost & Sullivan. Over a period of two months from Oct - Nov 2014, Frost & Sullivan surveyed 1,300 respondents randomly selected from consumer online panels.

Mr. Hazmi also said that U Mobile also rates significantly higher for Net Promoter Score, at which is the likelihood of customers recommending the service of his/her service provider to a friend.

"When asked if they would recommend their current telecommunication service provider to their friends and colleagues, U Mobile is the clear winner with 54%, which is higher than the industry average of 38%," he added
