LifeApps Digital Media Inc. to Develop Mobile Health Applications for the Apple Watch

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - May 5, 2015) -  LifeApps Digital Media Inc. (OTC PINK: LFAP) ("LifeApps"), an emerging growth company, and designer of m-health, fitness and sports applications ("apps") sees the release of the Apple Watch as a great opportunity for innovation and growth in the company's apps and LifeApps Health initiative.

"The Apple Watch is a significant development in the wearables market," states Robert Gayman, CEO of LifeApps. "The Apple Watch extends the functionality of the iPhone ecosystem to a wearable device. For healthcare practitioners and fitness enthusiasts this is a fantastic thing. The cumbersome act of pulling out your phone to check your step count or your caloric intake is gone. A simple glance at the wrist will now suffice. Apple has released a product that many iPhone users are going to crave."

Apple has not released early sales figures on the Apple Watch with Apple CEO Tim Cook stating that, "demand is greater than supply," and that the response to the Apple Watch has been, "overwhelmingly positive," during Apple's April 27 quarterly earnings call. Ewan Spence (Forbes.com) states that even on the conservative side of estimates the Apple Watch will likely sell more units within the next month than the entirety of Android Wear accomplished in all of 2014 (720,000 units according to Canalys).

"We've already begun expanding MDWorkout with integration into Apple Healthkit. We are working now to bring our flagship product, among others, to the Apple Watch," states Gayman.

MDWorkout is a part of the LifeApps Health initiative, a focused effort of LifeApps to develop new products that mobilize healthcare and can be downloaded for free from the App Store for a limited time.
