Customers that want to extend the HP ESKM to manage data-at-rest encryption for Hadoop environments now have the ability to utilize Zettaset. The Zettaset Secure Hadoop Encryption is optimized to deliver a high level of compute performance and solution scalability in even the largest Hadoop clusters.
HP ESKM is an enterprise key manager that supports all types of HP Storage and Server data protection solutions, as well as supports HP partners and non-HP environments through OASIS KMIP compliant clients. According to the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), HP ESKM 4.0 is the first commercial KMIP server to be certified as conformant under the OASIS SSIF KMIP Conformance Test Program.
Zettaset and HP ESKM interoperability and KMIP compliance eases integration into existing key management environments, enabling customers to retain the value of their existing technology investments.
