Four More Patents Granted to Sauer Energy

CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwired - May 06, 2015) - Sauer Energy Inc. ("SEI") (OTCQB: SENY), developer of the patented WindCharger® vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) and manufacturer of the patented WindCutter®, vertical axis wind turbine, SEI announced that four (4) new patents have been awarded by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") to support additional features for their wind turbine energy production line.

These new patents awarded follow previous company patents for the renewable energy sector. SEI is committed to leveraging its intellectual property to give customers the ability to save money by creating their own electricity.

"We are extremely proud of our ongoing innovations that effectively manage and convert wind energy into electricity. These solutions are designed for proficiency, safety and reduced cost of manufacturing. We will continue to apply and patent further cutting-edge technologies that support our innovations," stated Dieter Sauer, CEO and President of Sauer Energy, Inc.

The first patent relates to the WindCharger model for the innovative design features that improve the aerodynamics and increase air flow.

The second and third patents relate to the WindCharger model for the technology of the conversion of wind into electricity. This patent covers unique technology that embodies its high-tech design along with state-of-the-art improvements used in the capture and conversion of wind into energy.

The fourth patent relates to the WindRider. It outlines the plurality of curved blade segments that form a parallel helixical surface where blades are positioned to form a fixed relationship with respect to each another.

The granting of these patents confirms SEI's commitment to continue to improve its innovations, making them produce more energy more effectively. SEI is distinguishing itself in the low wind capture industry for its design and unique utility of its turbines.

With its dedication to research and development, the SEI goal is aimed at evolving and advancing in the renewable energy sector. The research and development strategy is to develop and innovate ahead of the market acceleration so as to participate in and shape new market opportunities as they emerge.

Presently, SEI holds six (6) granted USPTO domestic patents and another two (2) Patent Cooperation Treaty ("PCT") international patents and has another eight (8) country-specific applications pending.

About Sauer Energy Inc.

Sauer Energy Inc. is a technology developer and manufacturer focused on the emerging renewable energy market. In the very near future, SEI plans to offer the patented helixical WindRider model, a vertical axis wind turbine that employs the HelixWind technology it purchased in 2012. The higher performance design modifications are expected to deliver superior results. The WindRider is also pole-mounted, and can be used for applications that don't require roof mounting. SEI has also created the WindCharger brand for a better roof-mounted solution for residential and other small building usage.

SEI's technology is remarkable as it requires so few parts. This means a lower manufacturing cost, more efficient operation, lower maintenance (fewer parts = less chance of malfunction), and greater power generation. This will provide SEI with a new direction for wind capture, making it easier to scale from residential, to powering a small community -- all the way up to large industrial facilities. The market opportunity for this new, self-contained, innovative technology is unlimited and growing rapidly.

With several patents in place and many more pending, SEI looks forward to early manufacturing and commercialization. It is also aggressively moving toward a financial return on its investments. To learn more about Sauer Energy, please visit: www.SauerEnergy.com
