This procurement is sole source to National Railway Equipment (NRE). This requirement is for NRE specialty parts for GENSET Locomotives. Several parts will be ordered for this requirement to include the following parts: Invertor, CPU board, Overload Relay, Mounting Bracket, Contactor, Fan Motor, DVR 2000E with Mounting Equipment , Sensor, MR Pressure N-Force, and N-Force power Supply. North American Industry Classification System Code is 336510; size standard is 1000 employees and will be restricted to a small business set-aside. This Solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a) (7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation.

This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon the vendor to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
