Welocalize Releases New Features and Reporting in GlobalSight Version 8.6

FREDERICK, MD--(Marketwired - May 26, 2015) - Welocalize, global leader in innovative translation and localization solutions, announced today the latest release of the proprietary open-source translation management system (TMS), GlobalSight. The latest version includes improvements in the user interface (UI) as well as new reports, tools and connectors, bringing even more functionality to the GlobalSight community.

"The Welocalize team is delighted to unveil GlobalSight 8.6, the latest version of our popular open-source translation management system," said Genara Rodriguez, applications deployment manager at Welocalize. "With all the new features and functionality, I have no doubt the GlobalSight community will gain a lot of value from this version of GlobalSight."

GlobalSight 8.6 includes additional features such as the In Context Review Tool for InDesign™ files and a new connector for users who work with MindTouch™. GlobalSight users now have the option to download translation kits by word count, which means large files can be split as required by the user. Welocalize has made changes in the file importing process, resulting in better resource management and more granular control for GlobalSight users and administrators.

Welocalize is holding a GlobalSight Boot Camp Session, as part of the Localization World Conference in Berlin, Germany, June 3-5. The GlobalSight Boot Camp is hosted by Welocalize technical solutions experts Vincent Swan and Jack Carty on Wednesday, June 3, from 1:00 to 5:00PM.
