Airbus DS Communications Sees Record Adoption With VESTA(R) 9-1-1

TEMECULA, CA--(Marketwired - May 27, 2015) -  Airbus DS Communications, an entity of Airbus Defence and Space, has reached a record sales pace with its VESTA^® 9-1-1 system. Since the product's launch in December 2012, it has shipped to over 6,000 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) positions in the U.S. and over 60 positions on U.S. Department of Defense bases around the world.

Of the VESTA 9-1-1 systems shipped in the U.S., over 3,900 positions are already installed in over 700 PSAPs. To support these installations, 544 Channel Partner technicians and 8,500 Public Safety personnel have been trained by Airbus DS Communications in order to ensure the highest level of performance and support.

In the U.S., Airbus DS Communications systems are deployed in 3,500 PSAPs across 48 states and the District of Columbia, ranging in size from two calltaking positions to 613.
