Eguana Announces Successful Bid in Energy and Environmental Solutions Global Competition


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - July 8, 2015) - Eguana Technologies Inc (TSX VENTURE:EGT), ("Eguana" or the Company") a technology leader in power conversion and control systems for distributed, grid edge energy storage systems is proud to announce it has been awarded funding from the Alberta Innovates Energy and Environmental Solutions (AI-EES) competition.

Alberta Innovates team of experts and external advisors chose only 5 technologies with the most potential for implementation to the power grid from an international competition of over 50 proposals. Only technologies demonstrating grid scale energy storage applications were accepted for review.

"This project, in conjunction with Enmax Energy Corporation, will support the development of a new advanced distributed storage product to be installed in commercial buildings to smooth renewable power output to the electrical system as well as peak shaving applications," commented Brent Harris CTO of Eguana Technologies.
