Brookfield Renewable Provides Q2 Preliminary Outlook

HAMILTON, BERMUDA--(Marketwired - July 13, 2015) - Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners L.P. (TSX:BEP.UN) (NYSE:BEP) ("Brookfield Renewable") today provided a preliminary generation outlook for the second quarter of 2015.

Lower inflows in North America and South America are expected to result in hydroelectric generation of 5,101 gigawatt-hours ("GWh"), approximately 714 GWh below the long term average ("LTA"). Wind generation is expected to be below LTA in North America and in line with LTA in both Europe and South America.

Reservoirs in North America have increased from their levels at the end of June, positioning the business to capture traditionally higher summer pricing. The company's development activities and construction projects remain on scope, schedule and budget, and the business continues to deliver on its long-term strategic and growth plans.
