Great Eastern Energy Certifies Customers as 'Green'

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 29, 2015) -  Great Eastern Energy (GEE), an energy supplier of natural gas, electricity and energy solutions in the Northeast, will begin offering an additional incentive to consumers interested in renewable electricity plans. As part of GEE's commitment to sustainable energy, it will be recognizing those who do elect to "go green" by providing them with a 'Certified GEE Green' logo for display on their company website and on the front door of their establishment.

Further, renewable electricity customers will be offered a complimentary business audit by an Energy Advisor who will visit their location and suggest both physical (LED lights, smart thermostats, etc.) and behavioral changes that can reduce overall energy consumption. Once a renewable electricity plan is chosen and the contract is signed, the customer will receive Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) which promote renewable technologies that emit little or no carbon such as wind and solar.
