Grand Opening of Diamond Edge Solutions


LA CROSSE, WI--(Marketwired - Aug 3, 2015) -  Diamond Edge Solutions, a promotional marketing firm, specializing in in-store customer acquisition and brand management, has announced the grand opening of their La Crosse home office on July 23, 2015. The company, which is currently in two locations, plans to expand into an additional four locations by the end of 2015. This move will enable Diamond Edge Solutions to open up an additional twelve to fourteen new full-time positions in the area.

Newly promoted Market Manager, Sklyer Lloyd, expressed his excitement at building a strong office in the La Crosse territory, stating, "The atmosphere at the office I am building is going to be professional, fun, and respectful. I want everyone coming into work every day to be upbeat." As a fairly young manager, Lloyd laughs about his journey to leadership, stating, "I stay humble. I let my results do the bragging for me. My father always told me that people who are good enough at what they do earn the respect and recognition that they need to rise to the top. As a manager, I can relate with where my trainees have been. I don't see myself as a boss as I am coaching. I just want to help others reach their personal best."

Lloyd relates much of his professional success from the lessons that he has absorbed from professional mentors. He gave us more information on his background, confiding, "When I first began, I had no marketing or sales experience whatsoever. I was applying everywhere for jobs and didn't find much. Once I got started in this business, I learned from everything. I didn't have a family, so I threw everything that I had into it. I had a rough start until I met my professional mentor, who taught me about maintaining the right kind of attitude." While managing Diamond Edge Solutions, Lloyd plans to build thee business with individuals willing to work and build their careers from the ground up from within the company.

To insure that Diamond Edge Solutions has the opportunity to meet its expansion goals for 2015, Lloyd has established an in-house management training system to help develop career-minded employees in the firm into management positions. As a manager, he attributes much of his success to his "ability to listen, his dedication to consistent results, and his ability to adapt to any situation." His ultimate goal is to encourage employees who exhibit these characteristics to enter into management training and learn the foundations of the business and management. The curriculum for the management course includes business development, sales and marketing strategies, communications, human resources, and teambuilding. Lloyd stated, "Before I decided to build a career as a Market Manager, I was the shyest person in the room, and now, I am the loudest. I am constantly growing, and that's the fun part! In the end the harder you work, the better your business becomes. That's really what I want my trainees to take away from the management training program."
