TRC Names Mark Hall Vice President of Power Development


LOWELL, MA--(Marketwired - Aug 4, 2015) - TRC Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRR) announced today that Mark Hall has joined as Vice President of Power Development. In this role, he will lead the strategic growth of the Company's engineering, environmental and infrastructure services within the power generation and renewable energy market sectors to develop new business opportunities and deliver creative solutions to clients.

Prior to joining TRC, Hall was Executive Vice President and Chief Environmental Officer for Lakeside Energy LLC, where he was responsible for evaluating risk and value creation opportunities for new and existing business ventures, including a portfolio of three power plants, a solid waste-to-fuel business and a gasification technology company. He also managed environmental and regulatory diligence for numerous acquisition opportunities.

Hall's range of experiences and responsibilities includes corporate business development, operations planning, environmental risk and compliance due diligence, environmental, health and safety, public policy, marketing, communications and legislative and regulatory advocacy. Previously, he served in leadership positions for a number of energy companies, including Primary Energy Ventures LLC and Trigen Energy Corporation.

Hall was a co-founder of the U.S. Combined Heat and Power Association while at Trigen and has been an active member of several industry associations that work with federal, state and local legislators, regulators and related stakeholders in the areas of energy and environmental policy. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Austin College in Sherman, Texas and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington, Indiana.
