Tintri Kicks Off VMworld Week With Annual User Conference Tintricity

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 24, 2015) - Tintri Inc., a leading producer of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced it will kick off VMworld week with its annual user conference, Tintricity, in San Francisco on August 30. The conference will be immediately followed by Tintri's extensive activities as a Platinum Sponsor at VMworld 2015. Tintri will demonstrate newly announced products in booth #921 in addition to presenting five breakout sessions with customers and participating in industry panels throughout the conference.

Tintricity 2015 will feature discussions of technology, product and industry trends, led by Tintri executives, partners, customers and analysts. Guest speakers include Carl Eschenbach, President and Chief Operating Officer of VMware, Eric Sheppard, Research Director from IDC as well as Tintri customers from AMD, Cirrity, Thomson Reuters and OptumRx.

The Tintricity event rolls directly into VMworld, where Tintri will showcase newly announced products, including the Tintri VMstore T5000 All-Flash series, Tintri OS 4.0 and Tintri Global Center 2.1. The T5000 joins the award winning T800 Hybrid-Flash series to create a portfolio of VM-aware storage platforms powered by the same Tintri OS and real time VM-level analytics. The new products will enable customers to easily optimize virtualized workloads across the T5000 and T800 systems.

In addition, Tintri will demonstrate SyncVM, SecureVM and ReplicateVM as well as its tight integration with VMware vSphere 6.0, Horizon (with View) 6 and VMware Integrated OpenStack (VIO), with a preview of its support for VVol and vROps 6.0 Management Pack.

Tintri booth staff will also be on hand to share details of Tintri VMstack™ Converged Infrastructure, the industry's first VM-aware converged solution. VMstack provides customers the choice of Hybrid-Flash or All-Flash storage, multiple hypervisors, compute and network. Select Tintri partners will offer pre-qualified, integrated solutions designed for specific use cases such as VDI, high performance enterprise applications and private cloud.
