Company Adds New Customers, Expands Partner Ecosystem, and Receives Industry Recognition for Its Innovative Mid-Market HR System

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jul 25, 2016) -  Today from the Sage Summit in Chicago, Fairsail, global provider of award-winning cloud HRIS for the mid-market, shared details of its highly successful performance in the first half of 2016. In this time frame, the company experienced rapid growth as more businesses implemented its technology to improve how they manage and engage their people. Additional highlights include welcoming more great brands to its customer base, an expanded partner ecosystem, the addition of a new member to Fairsail's advisory board, and growing recognition across the HR technology industry and the business community.

"Too many organizations are still flying blind, relying on outdated and cumbersome processes to manage their workforces. We've achieved more than 1,200 percent growth over the last three years through hard work and a single-minded determination to help mid-sized multinational companies overcome the inefficiencies in their HR systems that are holding them back," said Adam Hale, CEO of Fairsail. "But we don't intend to rest on our laurels. The need for credible insights that can inform business and people planning is real -- and we will continue to help our customers gain the real-time workforce visibility they need to get the best from their employees."

Company Growth
In the first half of 2016, Fairsail's revenue has grown 90 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Key to this growth has been a significant increase in its number of clients, with the company adding 25 new customers throughout the first half of the year. Representing a wide range of industries, they include Sage, Matchtech, Mitsui, Fircroft, Colonial Group and other progressive companies seeking to improve their people processes and deliver enhanced employee experiences.

Fairsail continues to win mid-sized customers against the larger HR vendors. The online betting company, PaddyPower Betfair, preferred the Fairsail odds in spite of stiff competition from the largest European HR provider, while Inchcape Shipping Services selected Fairsail over its previous provider, one of the largest American HR software vendors.

Through these new customer acquisitions, the company now has 150 customers, accounting for more than 100,000 active users in over 130 countries around the world. In addition, an exceptional number of its existing clients have renewed with Fairsail, leading to a retention rate of nearly 100 percent.

Fairsail relies on a team of industry experts, technology leaders and customer service professionals to deliver its solutions quickly (usually within 90 days) and ensure its clients get maximum benefit from the Fairsail platform in the shortest time. To keep up with its rapid growth, the company has grown its team accordingly, increasing its workforce by almost 60% since the beginning of 2016 and currently counts 100 employees.

New Advisory Board Appointment
Fairsail also made a high-level appointment to its board of directors, welcoming Rebecca Foreman Janjic, partner in executive search firm Heidrick and Struggles' Global Technology Practice, who joins Jen Alessandra, SVP of HR at SolarWinds, as a board advisor. With more than two decades in executive search and working with companies in the software, digital/e-commerce and IT services fields, Foreman Janjic's expertise will be welcome in guiding the company's continued growth and expansion.

Product Updates
New functionality continues to be made available to Fairsail's customers through its agile development and release process. The company's latest functionality includes the Fairsail mobile app, bonus planning and seamless payroll transfers (employee changing from one payroll to another), among many other capabilities. Paperless onboarding is now available through seamless integration between Fairsail and DocuSign, the world's leading electronic signature application. This enables companies to automatically send onboarding documents, including Forms W-4 and I-9, for completion and e-signature and then transfers that information directly into each employee's records. The combination of DocuSign and Fairsail's e-form functionality creates a faster and more efficient onboarding experience, reducing time to hire and manual processing.

Expanding Partner Ecosystem
Fairsail's growth is also due to a number of integrations with other leading technology providers. In May, the company expanded its strategic partnership with Sage, the market leader for integrated accounting, payroll and payment systems. Through this arrangement, Fairsail became the human capital management platform of choice to accompany Sage's X3 business management solution. As a result, Sage X3 and Fairsail now work together seamlessly to provide companies with a complete approach to managing their financials, supply chain, payroll, workforce and talent management. In addition, Sage has implemented the Fairsail solution internally, providing its 13,000 employees with a state-of-the-art HR and people management solution to further enhance their workforce experience.

Growing Recognition
As Fairsail continues to serve more clients and expand the reach of its solutions, the company has garnered recognition from across the HR technology space and larger business community. In April, Fairsail was named as a Red Herring Top 100 Europe award winner, recognizing the company as one of the most promising private ventures, based on factors like the disruptiveness of its technology, global footprint, growth rate and number of users.

Fairsail was also featured prominently in the 2016 HRO Today Forum. Company CEO Adam Hale chaired a panel discussion on the relationship between investment, innovation and the HR suite. In addition, the company was one of six top technology innovators selected to present in the event's annual iTalent Competition, for which it was named second-place winner.

In addition, Fairsail will highlight its solutions and integration with Sage during the annual Sage Summit, the largest gathering of small and medium businesses in the world, taking place July 25-28, 2016, at McCormick Place in Chicago.
