USFCR Client Pyramid Technologies, LLC Lands 5-Year, $1.1 Million Contract

PROVIDENCE FORGE, VA--(Marketwired - September 29, 2016) - US Federal Contractor Registration is pleased to announce that Pyramid Technologies, LLC last week landed a five-year, $1.1 million contract with the U.S. Army to provide propane to Fort Carson in Colorado.

This five-year contract is the eleventh contract that Pyramid Technologies -- a logistics and IT company -- has won since becoming registered in the System for Award Management, and is one of three that the company is currently actively managing.

Prior to taking on contracts as the prime contractor, the company worked as a subcontractor, which gave it the past performance it needed to demonstrate to a government buyer that it is capable of providing services and products in specified time frames.

Of course, past performance doesn't matter if a contractor doesn't bid on an opportunity, especially when the company is as new as Pyramid Technologies is, according to its Principal and CEO Herb Jones, which is why he initially turned to US Federal Contractor Registration to handle the company's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration and continues to turn to USFCR each time he encountered an opportunity on which he wants to bid.

"Being a relatively new company, there is so much that we simply don't know," said Jones. "If a situation surfaces, I simply contact John Wayne and he either calms me down and/or provides the guidance and perspective we need to make good sound decisions."

Wayne, who is USFCR's Director of Federal Training, has more than six years' experience training government contractors on putting together contract-winning bids. He works one-on-one with clients, as well as in group settings, and holds weekly conference calls where he goes through available contracts and spells out how he'd recommend a client fill out and submit the bid.

Wayne also makes available his training on a monthly basis, giving clients full access to him and his training.

"Helping companies complete and maintain their SAM Registration is just the first step in helping a company become successful," said Wayne. "What I enjoy is actually helping them search for and research opportunities, develop bids and bidding strategies, and put together an aggressive and, ultimately, successful bid."

Jones, for his part, credits Wayne for much of his company's contracting success.

"The X-factor in our success has been John Wayne," said Jones. "He is invaluable."

US Federal Contractor Registration is the world's largest third-party government registration firm. It helps clients complete the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration, develop winning bid strategies, and succeed as government contractors. In 2015, USFCR clients earned nearly $2 billion in government contracts.
