Perisson Improves Operating Efficiencies at Twining

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2016) - Perisson Petroleum Corporation ("Perisson" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:POG) is pleased to announce that it has initiated operating cost reduction measures and the optimization of existing production facilities for its oil and gas producing properties in the Twining oil field of east central Alberta. The purchase of these properties was concluded as announced in our press release of August 18, 2016.

Perisson is also conducting a thorough geological review of all of the wells which were acquired in this acquisition. The Company then plans to conduct well workovers and stimulation of those wells which have not been performing to their maximum capability. This work may include the replacement of bottom-hole pumps, chemical treatments of the existing perforations, re-perforating of the oil producing zone and in some cases the re-fracturing of wells to achieve optimum oil production from the Pekisko zone.

In the past 4 months Perisson has completed two acquisitions in the east central area of Alberta. We will continue to pursue the purchase of oil weighted properties in this hydrocarbon prolific area. Commencing with the closing of the expanded proposed private placement, as announced on October 11, 2016, Perisson intends to accelerate its efforts to identify acquisition and development opportunities in this core area.
