Sophos Announces Eleanor Lacey as Senior Vice President and General Counsel


OXFORD, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Oct 17, 2016) - Sophos (LSE: SOPH), a global leader in network and endpoint security today announced the appointment of Eleanor Lacey as senior vice president and general counsel. Lacey brings almost 20 years of experience as a vice president and general counsel for a variety of leading private and public software companies. Lacey will be based in the Sophos office in Santa Clara, California and will report directly to chief executive officer, Kris Hagerman.

Lacey will join Sophos from SurveyMonkey where she is senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to joining SurveyMonkey in 2012, Lacey was general counsel and vice president of business development at Corel Corporation. Before Corel Corporation, Lacey held the position of vice president of corporate and business development at SupportSoft and prior to that was vice president and general counsel at Niku which was acquired by Computer Associates in 2005. Lacey began her career as a litigation associate at two leading law firms in San Francisco.
