GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 19, 2016) - Greg Fergus, Member of Parliament (Hull-Aylmer), and David McGuinty, Member of Parliament (Ottawa South), will make an announcement on Thursday about activities that will be held on December 31 in Canada's Capital Region to kick off celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Confederation. Mr. Fergus and Mr. McGuinty will make this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage.
