NH-ISAC Welcomes Attivo Networks(R) to Navigator Program

Attivo Networks(R) Joins Customized Benefits Program To Play An Important Role In Navigating And Educating NH-ISAC Members While Receiving The Benefits Of A Special Relationship With The ISAC

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 25, 2016) - The National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NH-ISAC) has accepted Attivo Networks® based in Fremont, CA, application to become a participant in the NH-ISAC Navigator program.

The goals of the Navigator Program:

  • Create an environment that brings new security ideas and cyber education solutions to the entire membership of NH-ISAC in an ongoing relationship.
  • Offer Solution Developers an opportunity to participate with NH-ISAC in a relationship for an entire year, not just a one-time event or exhibit.
  • Navigators are eligible to detail their unique offerings with NH-ISAC members via webinars.
  • Navigators are also eligible to participate in regional NH-ISAC membership Workshops (such as: Ransomware 101, Medical Device Manufacturer Cyber Security).
  • Navigator participants also receive priority status at NH-ISAC Summit's for promotional exposure, event opportunities, as well as exhibiting visibility.
  • Navigator program applicants pay a yearly fee to join the program.

Attivo Networks provides a real-time, non-disruptive threat detection and response solution for healthcare organizations, which has been recognized for its efficiencies in detecting unknown and advanced cyber threats. The solution reduces the time and difficulty associated with detecting and responding to inside-the-network threats regardless of whether an attacker is seeking to compromise user or medical device networks, public, private or hybrid cloud environments. By planting decoys and deception lures throughout the network an organization can efficiently and accurately detect the reconnaissance and lateral movement of threats, identify stolen credentials usage attempts, alert on ransomware attacks, and provide visibility to misconfigurations and misused credentials that present entry points for attackers.

NH-ISAC President, Denise Anderson stated, "We truly value our Navigator Program participants and the opportunities such a relationship presents. Working with solution developers such as Attivo Networks® allows NH-ISAC members to be exposed to new and innovative products and services that help the HPH sector prevent and mitigate against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The deception technology Attivo Networks® provides offers one such example."

"The growing number of healthcare breaches is being driven by gaps in prevention only security solutions, insider threats, and the growing complexity of cyber attacks," said Tushar Kothari, CEO of Attivo Networks. "Perimeter and end-point security solutions are failing to stop intrusions and Attivo provides members with a high efficacy solution for the real-time detection of threats once they are inside the network. We are excited about the opportunity to provide the NH-ISAC members with the solutions for early threat detection along with the attack analysis and forensics required to immediately shut down current attacks and prevent them in the future."
