Mayor's 28th Annual Christmas Food Drive

This Christmas campaign is a collaboration of amazing community partners and individuals that helps Calgarians in need over the busy winter months -- all with the enthusiastic support of Mayor Naheed Nenshi!

Good Earth Coffeehouse Holiday Campaign
To December 31
Good Earth Coffeehouses across Canada are partnering with their local food bank for the 2016 holiday season by donating $1 from each sale of a Gingerbread Family plus collecting food donations. A delicious way to support the community!

Can Man Dan Tour of Alberta

The Key of A and the Homestretch are combining forces and bringing you a night to remember! Come check out local bands all under the comfort of the Ironwood in support of the Calgary Food Bank. Both non-perishable and monetary donations will be accepted.

Suncor Energy Centre - 150 6 Ave SW
Teams from PWC, Brookfield and TMP Consulting Engineers are building holiday-themed creations out of non-perishable food items. The finished designs will become part of the main floor building décor at Suncor Energy Centre for the month of December. All food items used for the event are purchased by the teams and will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank.

Old-School Bakesale
Wednesday, December 7, 12 - 1 p.m.
Suncor Energy Centre - 150 6 Ave SW (main floor)
Come down to treat yourself and others with baked goods from dozens of local bakeries around the city. All proceeds from purchased goods come to the Calgary Food Bank. Come quickly as it is until supplies last.

Bankers Hall Fashion Show
Thursday, December 8, 12 - 1 p.m.
Bankers Hall - 315 8 Ave SW (West +15 connecting to The Core)
Bankers Hall retailers and local designers will be featured including a creative outfit made from wrapping paper. Make sure to vote for your favourite piece while at the Fashion Show as for every vote made, Bankers Hall will donate $5 to the Calgary Food Bank!

AMA Fill Our Fleet

To kick-off the Fill Our Fleet Campaign, Santa will be visiting the Shawnessy AMA Centre and the 17th Ave SW AMA Centre on Saturday, December 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your little ones, your AMA membership card and a donation (monetary or toy) and have a photo with Santa.

Calgary Multicultural Choir
December 10, 7 - 9 p.m.
The Calgary Multicultural Choir presents 'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime featuring selections of Winter, Christmas and Peace! Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for students and, children 12 and under are free. Donations to the Calgary Food Bank will be accepted. For ticket information call 403-249-2629.

For the 15th year in a row, runners take to the Eau Claire and Bow River pathways for a 5K brisk winter run, all in support of the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program. Registration for the Amble with Angus is only $20 per person and each dollar is a direct donation to the Food Bank. A few kilometres and a few dollars go a long way!

Santa arrives with the 18 Wheels of Christmas trailer to the Calgary Food Bank
The transportation industry in Alberta is organizing its 14th annual food drive in support of food banks. Last year the campaign set a record in Calgary, collecting 56 skids of food and more than $3,000.

Calgary Flames - Donate the weight of the Flames

Puck drops at 7 p.m.
The Calgary Flames will be taking on the Vancouver Canucks in a home game on December 23. Support the Calgary Food Bank by bring a non-perishable food donation as we attempt to raise the weight of the Calgary Flames in food.
