Make-A-Wish Encourages Honda Indy Fans to Bid on Celebrity Race Suits

Proceeds from auction to help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - December 01, 2016) - Calling all Indy super fans! Your chance to own a piece of race history is just a click away. Until Dec. 11, 2016, Make-A-Wish® Canada will auction off custom race suits worn at Honda Indy Toronto or Edmonton by James Hinchcliffe, Alex Tagliani and Paul Tracy.

"In the last seven years, Honda Canada Foundation has raised more than $500,000 at Indy events in support of our wish-granting mission," says Jennifer Klotz-Ritter, president & CEO, Make-A-Wish Canada. "After each event, we have graciously accepted these suits from Honda, some signed by fans at each event. We are very excited to be able to share them with the public and raise money for children across Canada."

Hometown hero and Honda ambassador, James Hinchcliffe, has taken to the track in honour of Make-A-Wish® since 2014, and prior to that, Indy superstars, Alex Tagliani and Paul Tracy, raced on the charity's behalf.
