Media Advisory: Nationwide campaign to ban asbestos gets support in Nanaimo


NANAIMO, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec. 5, 2016) - The CLC will host a news conference at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7th at the BC Ferry and Marine Workers' Union (BCFMWU) office to address the need for a comprehensive ban on asbestos in Canada.

The CLC is hosting a series of news conferences across the country calling for a ban on asbestos, and recently launched two online videos to raise awareness about the danger posed by asbestos.
