Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education Chooses D2L's Brightspace LMS

WATERLOO, ON--(Marketwired - November 21, 2017) - D2L, the global learning technology leader, announces that the Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education (NSCECE) has chosen its Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) to reach more learners across the province to address a shortage of early childhood educators.

Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education (NSCECE) is a non-profit post-secondary educational environment overseen by a Board of Directors. They offer a two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education with 600 hours of hands-on practical experience in child care centers. Given the need for more flexible training options to increase the number of Early Childhood Educators throughout Nova Scotia, NSCECE is using Brightspace to develop a blended or online-only learning environment to adapt to every student's learning style. NSCECE will now be able to provide a quality learning experience to students that, due to geography or time constraints, cannot attend class on campus or study full-time.
