Calgary's Gingerbread House
Saturday, November 25, 2017 - Tuesday, January 2, 2018
Fairmont Palliser Hotel - 133 9 Ave SW
Come down to step inside the magical gingerbread house designed by the Drop In Centre Woodworking Shop and decorated by the Palliser Hotel with real gingerbread and other sweet treats. The Palliser Hotel is accepting food and cash donations in support of the Calgary Food Bank in exchange for taking photos. Once inside children are encouraged to grab a marker and make a wish for a sick child. Three $1000 wishes will be granted by local breweries including: Big Rock, Last Best and Wildrose.

Bearspaw Christmas Market
Saturday, November 25

Rockpointe Church - 255024 Lochend Road NW
Get a jump on your holiday shopping at the Bearspaw Christmas Market. A $1 from the admission fee will be donated to the Calgary Food Bank. They are also accepting food and fund donations.

Santa at the Market
Saturday, December 1 & Sunday, December 2

Calgary Farmers Market - 510 77 Ave SE
Santa will be at the Calgary Farmers Market the first two weekends in December. They will be accepting food and cash donations in support of the Calgary Food Bank in exchange for snapping a picture with Jolly old St. Nick.

Knox United Carol Festival

Come down and enjoy the sound of Christmas with different choirs preforming each night. There is no admission cost but it is suggested to bring a donation in support of the Calgary Food Bank. Calgary Food Bank volunteers will be onsite to accept donations.

Amble with Angus 5km Fun Run

Runners Wanted!! Come down and participate in this fun 5km run in support of the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk program. This early morning run in the downtown core is set up so you can be up, support and amazing program and still make it to work on time. Registration is $20 and you will receive a tax receipt for $15. CP Rail Holiday Train

The CP holiday Train is pulling into town. Come down make a donation in support of the Calgary Food Bank and enjoy the lights and a free concert featuring Colin James, Alan Doyle and The Beautiful Band.

Heebee Jeebees Christmas Concert

Calgary Motor Dealers Association Cavalcade of Cans Dealership Challenge

Calgary Motor Dealers Association (CMDA) members have been collecting food and funds for the last month. On Thursday, December 14, Dealerships from across Calgary will weigh their donations in a competition to see what team has collected the most food and funds for the Calgary Food Bank. The CMDA Cavalcade of Cans Dealership Challenge is an integral part of the Mayor's 29th Annual Christmas Food Drive, running through November and December.
