"Street Art for Occupy Wall Street" Is Putting Posters on Every Street Across the U.S.

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 29, 2011) - BLANK, a New York artist supporting the Occupy movement, has launched an ambitious project: to occupy each street in the country with a piece of art.

The project, named "Street Art for Occupy Wall Street," launched this month on KickStarter with the release of 18 posters. The work of the artist, reminiscent of '60s political posters, carries an elegant and striking force. The entire series is intended to be posted throughout the entire country to propagate the core message of Occupy Wall Street.

The KickStarter platform offers the opportunity for everyone to support the movement and make their voices be heard by pledging any amount from $10 to $500, and gives rewards at each level of support (stickers, signed posters, prints and original works).
